SUMMER AND GREENHOUSE SEEDLINGS
New Zealand has short summer (Nov-March) and the summer crops like watermelons etc. need to complete their growth and production during this period. To establish crop early in the field, the plug plants are produced in the nursery in late winter (Sep-Oct) and transplanted as soon as the temperatures pick up outside.
We have been producing and servicing summer crop growers for over twenty years successfully. The important crops are:
- Early pumpkins
- Egg plants
- Asian melons etc.
We have experience in producing seedlings for the following crops:
- Asparagus from seed
- Kumra from tubers
- Herbs seedlings and potted herbs
- Medicinal like Withania and Echinacea
- Cut flower seedlings.
- And many more
Please discuss with us your planting material needs preferably in June-July so that we can allocate the heated space and get the seedlings ready Time.
Any specific requirement for ‘grafted seedling’ or ‘seedless watermelon’ can also be worked out.
